Social Media and Content Creation

I installed Tiktok during the pandemic to cure my bordem and keep myself entertained. I started filming some videos for fun and one them became viral. Since then, I have gained over 25,000 followers on tiktok and over 5,000 followers on Instagram. I script, film, and edit all of my videos. I film skits that talk about Cantonese/Chinese culture, mini language lessons, and any other things I find interesting. I have also collaborated with different brands such as Sukoshi Mart, popular skincare brand Abib, and Dr.G. During my internship, I also created a video that ended up being posted on the official TD Instagram page.

Day in the life video of Latanya Housen, a Regional Manager at TD. This video got posted on the TD Instagram page and is currently the most liked video of 2024 on the page.

Out on Bay Street 2024 Conference video testimonials montage. I gathered clips and edited them together to make a quick summary video of everyone’s thoughts and comments about the conference.

The Process

Before I film anything, I always jot my ideas and script out the concept in my notebook.

The first image is a storyboard I created for a potential debut video of the Diversity and Inclusion TD LinkedIn page where it will feature our VP doing a 73 Questions with Vogue-esque video.

The next three storyboards was for an assignment where had to develop a new product for Starbucks and shoot an advertising campaign for it.

Scripting and storyboarding is crucial when writing skits
